French floating dry dock for torpedo boats built at Dunkirk, France according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1889 nos. 7-8

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht reporting that the floating dry dock built by the Compagnie de Fives-Lille, Dunkirk, France was launched end April. She was to be used for repairs of torpedo boat. The tests performed with her were successful. The time necessary for sinking and lifting were less as the contracted time. The company received more orders for building such docks.
