British battleship HMS Centurion rearmed according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1901-1902 no. 10

An item referred to the 10.500 tons magazine le Yacht reporting that the British battleship Centurion was to be partly rearmed during her repairs at Portsmouth casemates. The 10-12cm guns mounted in casemates in the broadsides were to be replaced by the newest Vickers 15cm quick firing guns. Further more were the unprotected guns on the upper deck now to be protected.(1)

1. Of the Centurion-class 2nd class battleship consisting of the Centurion and the Barfleur, preceded by the Royay Sovereign-class and succeeded by the Renown. Laid down at the Portsmouth Dockyard on 30 March 1890, launched on 3 August 1894, completed to execute her trials in September 1893, trials completed by February 1894, commissioned on 14 February 1894, decommissioned on 1 April 1909 and sold to be broken up on 12 July 1910.
