British Royal Navy ordered building of 10 destroyers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1901-1902 no. 10

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht reporting that the British Admiralty ordered the building of 10 destroyers with a contracted speed of 25 miles which was considered to be enough while more attention was to be paid to a large range and a strong ship.
