Tests executed by British Royal Navy with fast motorboats for target towing successful according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1938 no. 5

An item referred to the Proceedings dated April 1938 reporting that the first tests with a fast motorboat by the Royal British Navy used for towing targets were very successful. The motor boat had 2-500 hp engines allowing a speed of 30 knots.
