Japanese torpedo boat No. 16 sunk according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1895-1896 No. 7

An item referred to the Mittheilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens reporting that the Japanese torpedo boat No. 16 on 12 May sunk near the Pescadores Islands or Penghu. Of her crew of 14 men was just one men saved.
