HMS Ajax
An item dated Montevideo, Uruguay 5th reported the arrival of the British oil tanker San Gerardo with on board 40 persons taken over the German cargo ship Olinda. The latter ship was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean sunk on last Sunday by the British cruiser HMS Ajax.(1)
