The new Argentinean destroyers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 6

An item dealing with the new building of Argentinean destroyers supplied the first available details. On 27 April were the keels laid of the two destroyers to be built at the Germania werft. The in England to be built vessels would have 5 , the elsewhere built vessels just three funnels. Their crew was to number 110 men. The main weapon was the 53cm Whitehead torpedo which had on 2 kilometres a speed of 41 miles decreased to 29 miles on a distance 0f 5 kilometres. The technical details of the destroyers built at several shipyards differs.
Gemania werft type had as dimensions 87,4 (over all) x 8,25 x 2,55 (normal)-2,9 (full load) metres, displacement 940 (trial)-1.120 (full load) tons, speed 32 miles, coal bunker capacity 250 tons, fuel oil capacity 110 tons, Schulz boilers and 18.000 hp.
Brosse en Touché type had as dimensions 88,3 (over all) x 8,6 x 2,7 (normal)-3,1 (full load) metres, displacement 950 (trial)-1.178 (full load) tons, speed 32 miles, coal bunker capacity 256 tons, fuel oil capacity 82 tons, White Forster boilers and 18.000 hp.
Schichau type had as dimensions 90.0 (over all) x 9,0 x 2,3 (normal)-2,8 (full load) metres, displacement 890 (trial)-1.110 (full load) tons, speed 32 miles, coal bunker capacity 290 tons, fuel oil capacity 50 tons, Schulz boilers and 19.000-20.000 hp.
Camel, Laird&Co. type had as dimensions 89,34 (over all) x 8,24 x 2,6 (normal)-3,0 (full load) metres, displacement 980 (trial)-1.175 (full load) tons, speed 32 miles, coal bunker capacity 225 tons, fuel oil capacity 750 tons, White Forster boilers and 19.750 hp.
