New homebuilt German warships complete failures according to the Dutch newspaper Vliegend blaadje dated 23 January 1884

An item referred to tidings received from Germany reporting that some of the warships built by German shipyards were complete failures. The department of navy seemed to intend asking a new budget to strengthen the fleet.
