Russian multi purpose corvette RFS Boyky (532) 2005-


Of the Steregushchiy-class although of the Project 2038.1 design, consisting of the Steregushchit (Project 2038.0), Soobrazitelny, Boiky, Spbershennyy, Stolky, Gromkiy, Retiviy, Strohiy, Aldar Tsydenzhapov and Rezkiy, preceded by the Grisha-class and succeeded by the Gremyashchiy and Derzky classes. The Boikiy is part of the Baltic Fleet. Laid down at the Severnaya Verf, St. Petersburg, Russia on 27 July 2005, launched on 15 April 2011 and commissioned on 16 May 2013. With a displacement of 1.800 (standard)-2.200 (full load) and as dimensions 104,5 x 11,6 x 3,7 metres or 343 x 38 x 12 feet. Machinery consist of 4-630kW diesels allowing a speed of 27 knots and with a speed of 14 knots a range of 3.800 nautical miles and an endurance of 90 days. Crew numbers 90 men. Fitted out with a hangar for a Ka-27 helicopter. The armament consists of 1-10cm A-190 Arsenal or 1-13cm A-192 naval gun, 2x4 Uran Kh-35 (SSN-N-25), 12 Reduit VLS cells,  AK-630 CIWS, 2x4-33cm torpedo tubes for anti torpedo/anti submarine Paket NK torpedoes and 2-14,5mm MTPU pedestal machineguns.
