Dutch cabinet interested in building several dreadnoughts according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra Post dated 3 February 1914

An item referred that the correspondent at The Hague, Netherlands reported that the Dutch cabinet while asking for one battleship intended to propose the building of 5 dreadnoughts to be financed with a Dutch East Indies loan.(1)

1. There was never a Dutch dreadnought built due to the outbreak of the First World War.
