Schooner ship Hoat Sing or Hap Gwan for sale at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 17 November 1894

An announcement reported the public auction on Saturday 24th 10.00 o’clock at the auction house at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies of the in 1880 in Siam djati wood built 3-mast schooner ship Hoat Sing or Hap Gwan, 276,76 register tons on a public auction in August 1890 sold for ƒ 15.410. Complete with rigging. At the moment still used by the contractor for transporting government salt from Madura towards the north coast of Java and outer possessions.
