Abandoned drifting 5-mast schooner Santino slavaged and brought to Bermuda according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 19 April 1920

An item dated London, England 15th reported that the steamship San Francisco on 7 April 900 miles east of Bermuda discovered the abandoned 5-mast double screw motor schooner Santino and brought her towards Bermuda. She was full loaded with sulphur and making water. At that moment was around 8 feet of water in the holds and engine room. A part of the crew of the San Florentino went on board of the Santino for pumping and steering. The last known position was 336 miles from Bermuda.
