An item reported that the German cruiser 3rd class Seeadler visited Tandjong, Priok, Dutch East Indies between 19-27 February 1905, Surabaya, Dutch East Indies between 1-12 March 1905, Makassar, Dutch East Indies between 16-21 March 1905 and Manado, Dutch East Indies on 25 March 1905.(1)

1. Of the Bussard-class unprotected cruisers consisting of the Bussard, Falke, Condor, Cormoran, Seeadler and Geier, succeeded by the Schwalbe-class and succeeded by the Gefion. Laid down as Ersatz Adler at the Kaiserliche Werft Danzig, Germany in 1890, launched on 2 February 1892, commissioned on 17 August 1892 and blown up while used as a mine hulk lying in the Jade, Wilhelmshaven, Germany on 19 April 1917.
