Tests with wireless d’Asar sound locator device successful according to the Dutch magazine dated Marineblad 1899-1900 no. 5

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht reporting that the tests in the Bay of Genoa with the wireless telephone device of Mario Russa d’Asar were very successful. On a distance of 7 miles was still with accuracy the presence of a ship noticed.(1)
