An item reported that the former Russian torpedo cruiser Gaidamah of 450 tons and a speed of 20 miles was salvaged at Port Arthur.(1)

The Gaidamak of the Kazarskii-class consisting of the Kazarskii, Voyevoda, Posadnik, Vsadnik, Gaidamak and Griden, laid down by Crichton, Abo [Turku, Finland] in 1892, launched in 1893, completed in 1894, added to the Siberian flotilla, salvaged by Japan as in 1905 commissioned in the Japanese navy as the gunboat Shikinami, broken up in 1914.
