An item referred to the Proceedings reporting that for Turkish account German shipyards were building motor torpedo boats while Blohm&Voss, Hamburg built 2 submarines and in Turkey self were another 2 submarines built under German supervision. For the submarines was the 9.400 tons measuring cargo ship Erkin as mother ships vision. For the motor torpedo boats was the 1.078 measuring cargo ship Marmara as mother ship available. The Turkish navy possessed already 11 motor torpedo boats built in Italy.(1)
