An item reported that in Japan a destroyer was under construction which had just like the British Swiftsure-class destroyers to have a minimum speed of 35 miles. Displacement 1.100 tons. The armament was to consist of 1-11cm/4.3” quick firing gun and 4 torpedo launchers.
