British preferred Dutch mail boats for travelling over sea according to the Dutch magazine Schip en Werf dated 13 January 1933

An item referred to British newspapers which complained that so many British including civil servant used Dutch mail boats as transport. As an example was the latest departure out of Southampton, England by the Dutch motor ship Marnix van St. Aldegonde towards the Dutch East Indies given. Around 200 British came there as passenger on board of her.
