An item reported that on 3 September 1937 with success the Moroccan hopper sand suction dredger Adolphe Delande executed her trial. She was built by L. Smit&Zoon, Kinderdijk, Netherlands for account of the harbour board of Saffi, Morocco. Dimensions 49 x 8,60 x 4,55 metres. Cargo capacity 400 cubic metres. Machinery consisted of 1-350 ihp steam engine.
