Russian self propelling dredger Volgadon built in the Netherlands executing trials according to the Dutch magazine Schip en Werf dated 9 June 1939

An item reported that the Russian self propelling dredger Volgadon built by the shipyard of Conrad-Stork, Haarlem, Netherlands departed Ijmuiden, Netherlands  towards the North Sea and dredged in tie roads of Nieuwediep, Netherlands as test before returning to the shipyard. There she was to be completed before going under own steam to the Soviet Union.. Dimensions 57 x 11 x 3metres. Dredging depth 18 metres.
