Dutch built British steam tug Seagem handed over to owners according to the Dutch magazine Schip en Werf dated 17 February 1939

An item reported that on 31 January the British steel built tug Seagem was delivered to her owners after a successful trial. Built by N.V. Scheepswerf De Hoop, Neder-Hardinxveld, Netherlands. Dimensions 74 x 30 x 9 feet, Lloyds class A1.The firm L. Straatman, machinefabriek en ketelmakerij, Dordrecht, Netherlands placed the vertical triple expansion engine and the oil fuelled (White patent) boiler wit a heating surface of 815 square feet.
