In the first half of 1937 was totally 772.000 tons cargo shipped, an increase of 161.000 tons compared with the first six months the year before. However Polish ships transported just 8% of the stores transported in the foreign trade of Poland. To grow to 15-20% was the intention to increase the Polish tonnage with about 30.000 gross register tons.
