Japanese warships secretly and hastily fitted out again according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 6 December 1904

An item reported that the Japanese hastily but with success since August secretly prepared their warships for battling the Russian Baltic Sea Fleet. Most of the ships were repaired and fitted out again.
