Pocket submarines for the Yugoslavian navy according to a CIA report dated 8 October 1948

An item reported the arrival of sixteen disassembled pocket submarines of German design by rail at the end station of the Dubrovnik-Boka-Kotorska railroad at Zelenika coming from the  Russian zone in Germany. Assembling found place at Koto although yet just three. The crew was to number 4 men and the armament consisted of 2 torpedo tubes. The machinery consisted of 1-150hp naphtha fuelled engine and 1-10hp electric motor allowing a speed of 6 (surfaced)-4 (submerged) miles. Dimensions 12 x3 metres.
