Part of the fleet of the Dutch merchant shipping company Koninklijke Paketvaart Maatschappij (KPM). The list was supplied by the Dutch senior officer of Defensively Equipped Merchant Ship (DEMS) organisation at Sydney, captain lieutenant B.J. Knollema.(1)
Stiffening low angle gun foundation. Her armament consisted of: 1 high angle/low angle 12 pd gun, 4x2 Colt cal 50 machineguns, 4x1 ingle colt cal 50 machineguns, 1 Pillar Box=Mk II anti-aircraft rocket launcher with 20-5,08cm/2” rockets, 4PAC’s, 5 Smoke Floats, paravanes and degauss installation.
Protected bridge. Gun crew numbered 21 men.
