Austrian DDSG tug Vladivostok active on the Danube according to a CIA report dated 11 March 1953

An item dealing with the shipping on the Danube reported the passing of the Iron Gate on 28 November 1952 by the DDSG ((Austrian shipping Erste Donau-Dampfschiffahrts-Gesellschaft between 1945-1955 controlled by the Soviet Union) tug Vladivostok while towing 5 loaded tank barges destined for Bratislava, Czechoslovakia (nowadays Slovakia) and further mora another 4 unloaded cargo barges. She was expected to winter at Vienna, Austria.
