German light cruiser SMS Emden
An item reported that begin June the French gunboats Moquese and Malicieuse would visit Sabang, Dutch East Indies. The main reason for their visit was to place a statue at the grave of French naval officer Varissan who was killed in the fight between the French torpedo boat/destroyer Mousquet and the German warship Emden.
