German Schichau shipyard ordered building cruisers and torpedo boats for Russia according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1913 No. 3

The Maraviev Amurskyy as the Italian Bari

An item reported that the German Schichau shipyard at Danzig, Germany was ordered to built 2 cruisers (1) and 2 torpedo boats for Russian account, building costs 62/452.000 crones.

Note
1. The light cruisers Maraviev Amurskyy confiscated by Germany in 1914 and renamed SMS Pillau in 1920 handed over to Italy and renamed Bari and the Admiral Nevelskoy confiscated by Germany in 1914 and renamed SMS Elbing and scuttled in the battle of Jutland on 1 June 1916.
