1. José Ferrándi y Niño (12 March 1847 Seville-1 January 1918 Madrid), vice admiral and minister of navy 15 December 1903-16 December 1904 and 25 January 1907-21 October 1909. Known for his law dated 7 January 1908 for rebuilding the navy which was destroyed in the Spanish-American War, including the 3-15.700 ton España class battleships.
