An item reported that in the
Volga-Caspian Region still steam tankers with a varying size of 1.500-2.500
tons were active and which were pre-revolution. The involved tankers were the
KakSovet, Arrarat, Marat, Kraanovodak, Scvetskiy Ukraina, Sovetskaya Gurziya,
Edisson, Aziya, Kirov, Darwin, Nakhichivan, Soyus Vodnikov and the Katayana.
