The Soviet barges active in the Volga-Kaspian Region according to a CIA report dated 3 January 1953

An item reported that the barges owned by the Volga River Petroleum Steamship Agency (Volgatanker) were generally spoken better than the ones owned by the Reydtanker. This was caused by being newer and slightly technical improved.
