An item reported that the Swedish naval budget for 1904 was 8.761.650 Swedish crones of which 2.542.900 for the armoured ship Oskar II, 2.713.650 for the cruiser Fylgia and 1.283.100 for the building of a Fylgia type cruiser. Further more 1.212.000 for building 2 destroyers, 400.000 for 2 torpedo boats 1st class, 400.000 for 7 torpedo boat 7th class and 210.000 for a transport.
