Dubigèon-Normándie Shipyard, Nantes, France on 19 October 1965, launched on 24 April 1967, completed and commissioned on 4 May 1968 and decommissioned in 2010. Displacement 860 (surfaced)-1.043 (submerged) tons and as dimensions 57,8 x 6,8 x 5,2 metres or 189.6 x 22.3 x 17.1 feet. Speed 16 (submerged)-13,5 (surfaced) knots and as surfaced range 2.700 nautical miles with a speed of 12 knots. Crew numbered 54 men. Armament consisted of 12-55,1cm/21.7” Daphne TT-550 tiredness (8 bow, 4 stern).
