Greek merchant ships active on the Dniester river according to a CIA report dated 17 May 1948

An item reported that on the Dniester river were several Greek merchant ships active namely the salamis, Sofia, Jason, Ithaki and Smyrni belonging to different owners. Of the Greek owner Drakoulis were now the Kriti, Thraki, Ermis, Pieros, Ekatonchier and Zeus sent to the same river. It’s possible that all these ships were in fact tugs.
