British destroyer HMS Wolverine launched according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens dated 1910 No. 3

An item reported that the British destroyer Wolverine which was the second destroyer under contruction at Cammell, Laird and Co., Birkenhead, England was launched on 15th January. Displacement 920 tons and as dimensions 81,08 x 8,5 metre. The turbine machinery supplied 12.000 ehp allowing de design speed of 27 knots.(1)

1. Part of the Beagle-class destroyers, preceded by Tribal-class and succeeded by Acorn-class. Laid down by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, England on 26 April 1909, launched on 15 January 1910, completed in September 1910 and sunk in a collision with the fleet sweeping sloop Rosemary off the Irish north west coast on 1 December 1917.
