Dutch replenishment ship Hr. Ms. Poolster (A935) 1962-1994 and Pakistani PNS Moawin 1994-


Announced on 17 July 1962 that she was to be named Poolster after the Government naval vessel from 1939. Keel laid down by Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij (RDM), Rotterdam, Netherlands on 18 September 1962, launched on 16 October 1963, trial on 29 June 1963, commissioned on 10 September 1964, decommissioned on 28 July 1994, sold in 1994 to Pakistan and renamed Moawin with IMO 4902505 and pennant A 20. In 2018 replaced by a new fleet tanker with the same name. Gross tonnage 12.451 tons, summer deadweight 10.300 tons, displacement 16.386 tons and as dimensions 168,3 (over all) x 20,3 (maximum) x 8,2 (average) metres. Fitted out with turbines delivering 22.500hp allowing a speed of 21,0 knots. One screw. Armament consisted in 1983 of 2-4cm machinegun, depth charge rack and 3 Lynx helicopters. Standard one helicopters, maximum 5 helicopters.
