An item reported that the Romanian 600 tons monitor built by Stabilimento tecnico, Trieste [San marco, Austria-Hungary)were to be named Joan [Ion] Bratianu (1), La(s)car Catargi (2), Lahovary [Alexandru lachovaru] (2) and Mihail Cogelniceanu.(4) The armament consisted of 3-12cm Skoda guns in revolving turrets, 2-12cm howitzers, 2-4,7cm quick firing guns and 2 machineguns.
