An item reported the Soviet Baku naval base with as
geographic coordinates 40.20.40 north and 49.50.20 east located in the south
west part of Baku [Azerbaijan] probably also suited for (small) repairs. The
base possessed 12 piers, 1 seaplane ramp and parking apron, 1 basin used by
motor torpedo boats and 10 building including a shop building. A transporter
dock served as floating dock.
