An item reported the fenced Soviet Chardzhou Shipyard
with as geographic coordinated 39.06.40 north and 63.35.00 east located in the
northern part of Chardzhou [Türkmenabat], Turkmenistan]on the south bank of the
Amu Darya presumably used for repairing river vessels. The shipyard possessed 3
side-haul marine railways, 3 shop and 20 support buildings.
