An item reported that the at Dundee, Scotland fitted out steam whaler Victor with a cargo capacity of 278 tons had in 1873 as catch results while active in Greenland and Davis Strait 8.568 seals, 13 whales, 870 hectolitres seal oil, 870 hectolitres whale oil, total 1.740 litres oil and 3.250 kilo whalebone.
