Rebuilt at the shipyard just like the Sahilbend (No. 27) by the shipyard of the Bosphorus Shipping company Sirketi Hyriye, Istanbul, Turkey wit support of the German Engine plant Deschimag. The huge superstructure on deck moved resulting in a large free deck surface. Speed 6 knots. Dimensions 45,71 (between perpendiculars)-8,56 (outer hull)-12,19 (over paddle wheels) x 3,05 (depth) x 1,42 metres. Her original engine was replaced by a vertical MAN diesel engine from a submarine supplying 420 hp/375 rpm-550 hp/450 rpm. The paddle wheels allowed a horsepower of 300hp resulting in speed of 9,75 knots. During trials was 10 knots with 300hp achieved with the wheels 33 rpm. A speed of 9 knots was in the harbour of Istanbul the maximum speed for which 255 rpm with 295 ihp was sufficient with the wheels turning 28 rpm.
