Canadian fishing and sealing schooner Victoria in 1867

Homeport Esquimaux Point. Active on the cod and herring fishery along the coast of Labrador. Captain G. Cormier. Tonnage 52 tons. Crew numbered 11 men. Catch of 195 cwts cod and 566 barrels of herring. Also active in the seal hunting leaving for the ice around 23 March and returning at the end of April. Number of seals killed 217 and value in 1.193,50 US dollars. Crew then numbering 10 men.
