Launched by Penhoet Company, Saint-Nazaire, France on 29 July 1951 as the ss Bretagne for acccount of the French shipping company Société Générale de Transport Maritimes, sold to the Greek shipping company Chandris Lines in 1960, renamed ss Brittany in 1962 and lost when off Skaramagas on 8 April 1963 fire broke out and broken up at La Spezia, Italy staring March 1964. With a gross tonnage of 6.355 tons, net tonnage 9.351 tons and as dimensions 554.9 x 75.1 x 38.8 feet.
