Catch results of German Greenland seal hunters according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 10 July 1764

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 6 July reported the arrival on the Elbe on 4 July of the German commandeurs Theunis Pieters 100 quardelen, Jurgen Swen 142 quardelen, Hans Pieters 150 quardelen, Thomas Swen 122 quardelen, Matth. Swen 126 quardelen and Peter Andriesen 75 quardelen seal blubber returning from Greenland. They had none tidings about the whalers.
