Catch results of the German Greenland whalers according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche courant dated 24 September 1768

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 24 September 1768 reported that the last Greenland whalers arrived on the Elbe. The 23 whalers of Hamburg caught 40 1/12 whale, 1.308 quardelen whale blubber and 278 quardelen seal blubber. 2 whalers of Altona 3 whales 115 quardelen and one whaler of the East 7,5 whale 122 quardelen. One whaler of Hamburg which caught one whale was wrecked in Greenland.
