An item dated London, England 2 July reported the arrival on the Thames of captain Barlett with 6 whales and some seal blubber returning from Greenland, the Anson had 3 whales , Exeter and the Robert each one whale. An item dated 5 July reported the arrival at Liverpool of commandeur Cock with 3 large and 3 ordinaty whales returning from Greenland. He spoke on 4 Junes the commandeurs of the Adventure empty, the Hawke 3 whales, the Golden Lion 1 whale, the Newcastle 1 whale, the King of Bonny empty and 2 Dutch whalers together one whale. All tidings dealing with the whaling were nog satisfying. The Newcastle left on 14 June the ice at that moment were there more as 50 Dutch whalers and some British whalers without any catch results. At Shields arrived commandeur Hodgson with 5 whales, 115 quardelen and 2 seals and the old Robert of Newcastle seemed to have caught 2 whales.
