German Greenland seal hunters J. Swen, P.A. Leest, P. Jansz, P.C. Dekker and C. Thomsen returned at Hamburg, Germany according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 5 August 1766

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 1 August reported the arrival on the Elbe of J. Swen 170 quardelen, P.A. Leest 75, P. Jansz 35. P.C. Dekker 30 and C. Thomsen 28 quardelen seal blubber all returning from Greenland. They had none information about the whalers.
