German Greenland seal hunters commandeurs Corn. Thomsen and M. Michels arrived at Hamburg, Germany according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 14 July 1764

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 10 July reported the arrival on the Elbe of the commandeurs Corn. Thomsen 124 quardelen and M. Michels 128 quardelen seal blubber returning from Greenland where they left the ice on 75 degrees.
