An item dated Hamburg, Germany 17 July reported the arrival on the Elbe of Thomas Swen with 148 quardelen seal blubber, Hans Hansz Tonnies 123 quardelen, Michiel Jansen 97 quardelen and Jurgen Swen 94 quardelen all returning from Greenland. They stated to have had in April a lot of east and north east winds, in May mostly south and south west winds and a lot of fog, in June west and also south west winds sometimes clear sometimes foggy weather. They knew nothing about the whalers and left on 27 and 30 June the ice on 71.5 degrees. A list of the results of the seal hunters: of Hamburg J. Karstens 30 quardelen, C. Karstsens 24, H.
