American whaling ship Nile visited Honolulu, Hawaii according to the newspaper The Polynesian dated 3 April 1847

An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on 27 March by the American whaling ship Nile master Case of New York 17 months out 160 barrel sperm oil 1.200 barrels whale oil. She was forced to return for repairing her main mast.
